When and where is the Auto Draft?
The event date is Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from 9:00am to 3:00pm at El Camino College, 3400 Manhattan Beach Blvd., Torrance, CA.
Are mechanics programs welcome?
Welcome to attend as guests, yes, and welcome to exhibit and compete in 2025 when we expand. For 2024, we are starting with auto collision only. Please contact us to get on the invitation list.
Are alumni welcome?
Absolutely! Current and former students are welcome to attend and exhibit. Instructors may exhibit too, but are not eligible for trophy prizes.
When is load-in?
Load-in starts at 6:00am on May 8th, and early drop-offs can be arranged for May 7th. Load-out is 3:00-6:00pm.
How will the event be arranged?
The Auto Draft is a rain-or-shine outdoor event on asphalt. Schools will be allocated about four parking spaces to set up tents, displays, panels and vehicles. Extra parking is available for show cars.
